Full tutorials included!

I don’t know about you, but I’m finding it increasingly more difficult to get out of bed each morning. I’m not sure if it’s because the weather is colder, the mornings are darker, or because I’m just plain lazy, but I’ve been pressing snooze for 30+ minutes each morning, and while I mastered the art of prolonging a hair wash quite some time ago, I’ve been feeling frumpy and disheveled lately, which hasn’t been doing wonders for my mood.

The good news is that I found A TON of easy, sexy, and stylish hair updos for dirty hair on YouTube while my husband was watching his vampire shows last Sunday, and after a week of trying several of these updos out and feeling a lot more put together at school drop-off, I couldn’t resist sharing my favorites with all of you.

Because sleep shouldn’t come at the price of beauty, you know?

1. Pretty Dirty Princess Bun Tutorial by leighannsays

I’ve never been able to figure out how to get the bun look to work for me, especially when my hair is greasy and lifeless, so I particularly loved this video. Thanks to Leigh Ann, I can now throw my hair into a bun on no-shampoo days and fool the world into thinking I spent ages getting ready!

2. Dirty Pull Through by MMandLShow

I’m pretty sure Michelle Money (remember her??!) is drunk in this tutorial, and it’s far longer than it needs to be, but I really love this updo and had to share it. Also? I kind of want to go for drinks with her sometime. I think she’d be a riot to hang out with! Oh, and if you want a good tool to help with the ‘dirty pull through’, the Conair Topsy Tail Kit will get the job done. You’ll just need to mess it up a bit so it doesn’t look quite as structured.

3. Voluminous Ponytail Hair Tutorial by LeSassafras

This is such a great way to spice up your boring mom ponytail, and the messiness of it makes it PERFECT for days you want to skip the shampoo!

4. Running Late Hairstyles by Luxy Hair

It’s no secret that I love Luxy Hair’s tutorials, and this collection of updos is no different. Mimi shares 3 gorgeous updos that take only a few minutes to do, and while my hair isn’t naturally sexy enough to pull off the first look, I’ve learned how to get sexy beach waves pretty quickly with my Hot Tools Flipperless Curling Wand

5. Running Late, Last Minute Hairstyles for Dirty Hair!! by Claire Ashley

All 3 of these looks are cute and different, but I particularly like the “relaxed bohemian ponytail”!

6. Easier Than It Looks Updo by The Small Things Blog

You all know how much I love The Small Things Blog, and while I have shared this tutorial with you before, I had to share it again because I think it’s the perfect look for days when you don’t have time (or just can’t be bothered!) to wash your hair. It really is easier than it looks. Trust me!

7. Three Hairstyles for Second & Third Day Hair by Casey Holmes

These hairstyles take a little more time, but they are a great way to make dirty hair look good when you just don’t have time for a shampoo!
