Under eye circles got you down?
No worries – I’ve got your covered!
This collection of 5 fabulous makeup tutorials will teach you how to cover dark circles PROPERLY.
Each tutorial is packed with fabulous concealer tricks to teach you how to use under eye concealer, and they also provide great product recommendations. Oh, and if you are more of a natural gal and want to treat the root of the problem rather than applying gobs of makeup each morning, check out tutorial # 1!
1. How to Get Rid of Dark Circles by Michelle Phan
I learned a lot of stuff about the causes behind dark circles from this tutorial, and while I don’t always have the time and motivation to sleep more and eat healthier, I love Michelle’s DIY brightening gel for dark circles. Who knew licorice extract, vitamin K, and aloe gel could make such a difference??!
2. How to Hide Dark Circles Like a Pro by Makeup Geek
I love Makeup Geek’s method of using peach under eye concealer. I tried the EVE PEARL® Dual Salmon Concealer® product coupled with the Revlon Age Defying Concealer she recommends, and I was so amazed at the results! Give them both a try and let me know what you think!
3. How to Look Fresh & Awake When You’re Exhausted by Jaclyn Hill
I love this tutorial because I feel this exhausted every single morning! The spoon trick really does help calm my under eye area on the days when I’ve had less than 5 hours of sleep (this happens often!), and I’ve put the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer on my birthday list. I’ve been using the Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Eyes concealer for months now, and while I really like it, I feel it gets into the cracks of my skin and really shows my wrinkles on days when I’m really lacking in the sleep department.
4. Freshen Up Your SICK DAY! by Carli Bybel
If you’re feeling under the weather and want to conceal more than just your under eye area, this tutorial is for you! Carli uses a very inexpensive product for the circles under her eyes (NYX Cosmetics Dark Circle Concealer), and I love her sick day hairstyle!
5. How To Cover Under Eye Cricles by TheMakeupChair
Don’t laugh, but I never thought of using my eye shadow primer under my concealer before watching this tutorial. Why? Because I’m an idiot. Anyway, after watching this, I gave it a go and I am SHOCKED at how much better my under eye area looks and how long my concealer lasts!
