I received an invite to my 20-year high school reunion a couple of weeks ago, and while I’m generally a healthy eater and workout regularly, the long winter did a number on my motivation, and I’m a little bit panicked that I only have 3 months to get myself back in shape.
Now, I realize it’s not about what’s on the outside, and that I should love myself for who I am, but there are a few people who are planning to attend the reunion who weren’t very nice to me while I was growing up, and since my high school years were tainted by acne and bad fashion choices, I really want to make a splash.
So I started to look up some fitness motivation quotes, and I was amazed at how big a difference they made not only in getting me to the gym, but in pushing myself while I was there, and since I know I’m not the only one who wants to look her best this summer, I decided to share my favorites with you.
I hope these give you as much inspiration as they’ve given me in sticking with my fitness and weight loss goals. I chant # 5 to myself daily, and # 19 really helps to make running on the treadmill a little less painful for me. :)
