Do you know what’s harder than finding the perfect teacher Christmas gifts year after year?

Finding the perfect DIY teacher Christmas gifts you can make with your kids to add a bit of personality and thought to your gift-giving efforts.

For a long time, I kept things really simple. I asked my daughter to draw something for each of her teachers, bought a cool frame I thought they’d get a lot of use out of to put the picture in (last year I bought an Original Magnet Frame and I loved how it looked!), and added a little something – a Starbucks gift card or a box of Godiva Truffles – to complete the gift, and while some would argue this is more than enough, I always felt inadequate when I saw what the other mothers produced.

So when my daughter started at a new school at the end of last year, I made a promise to myself that I would get my act together and figure out how to fool my daughter’s teachers into thinking I’m the next June Cleaver in my spare time and show up with the best homemade gifts from now on, which means I’ve been spending a lot of time drinking wine while simultaneously searching frantically on Pinterest in preparation for the holidays.

And since I know I’m not the only mom out there who absolutely sucks at crafty stuff, I’ve rounded up 15 fabulous DIY teacher Christmas gifts you and your little ones will enjoy working on together.

Some of them are perfect for kids to make, others require adult supervision, and some are completely generic for those who don’t celebrate Christmas but still want to give a holiday gift.
