1. Flourishing Creativity
Individuals with ADHD are often highly creative and imaginative. They’re able to generate unique ideas and think outside the box. Living with ADHD requires a different approach to tasks and projects, which means ADHDers are often creative problem solvers who can come up with unexpected solutions. Many people with ADHD thrive in artistic and creative fields, whether it’s music, art or writing.

2. Willingness to Try New Things
ADHD is commonly associated with risk-taking behaviour, and while this isn’t always a good thing (impulsive spending, dangerous driving), it means they’re not as afraid to try new things. People with ADHD rise to the occasion when courage is required and are often drawn to novelty seeking behaviours. The ADHD brain needs a dopamine hit to keep it entertained, active, and growing, and trying new things is a great way to increase the happy hormone.

3. Hyperfocus
