Tropical Green Smoothie Paradise
The only thing obvious in this smoothie is the colour. A perfect drink for beginner smoothie drinkers.
Recipe type: Beverage
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen mango, cut into chunks
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
  • handful baby spinach (or baby kale, if desired)
  • 1½ cups coconut milk (or sub in nut milk)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Tbsp coconut or hemp seed oil
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
  1. If you have a small blender or one that isn't powerful, blend the spinach and liquid first. Then add the other ingredients and blend well.
  2. Otherwise, through in all the ingredients, start at a slower setting, and gradually increase speed as you blend all of the ingredients.
  3. If you aren't using frozen mango, add an ice cube or two.
  4. If you're feeling adventurous, substitute baby kale for the baby spinach.
