I don’t know about you, but I absolutely LOVE this time of year.
There’s just something so magical about spending time outdoors blowing bubbles with my 3-year-old, and I love the fact that I can throw on a maxi dress and pile my hair on top of my head and fool people into thinking I’m trendy and stylish.
(Even though we all know I’m just plain lazy.)
But, although I’ve come up with 100 different activities to keep my fiery toddler busy this summer, I have my moments when The Trying Threes get on my last nerve and I’m not sure I can make it until bedtime.
Oh, come on – you have those moments too.
The good news is that I came up with an awesome way to cope with those less-than-desirable days, and it doesn’t involve thousands of dollars of therapy.
Want to know what it is?
Disguised as popsicles.
Now, please don’t get me wrong. I don’t spend every single afternoon scarfing down a dozen adult popsicles, I never (ever) drive if I have even a drop of booze in my system, and I certainly don’t let my child near my special little stash in the freezer.
But I do indulge every once in a while, whether I’m at a BBQ, enjoying a lazy afternoon with my mom friends, or just having a bad day, and since they’ve been such a hit with my family and friends (you’d be amazed at how many moms like these!), I decided to share my favorite adult popsicle recipes with you.
